New general improvements #
1. Assigning Peer Reviews to users by the first and last name in the ‘Assigned To’ field. #
Pre-requisites: To have access to the Peer Review view and have permission to assign Peer Reviews to users.
Description:
In the Peer Review view, when assigning a Peer Review to a specific user, you will be able to see the list of the ‘Assigned to’ field on the drop-down menu
The Quality Clouds portal users can be searched by the ‘First Name’ and the ‘Last Name’.
→ How to assign users in the Peer Review view:
- Go to Quality Clouds Portal.
- Click on the Peer Review view.
- Select a Peer Review to be assigned.
- Select the user portal to assign the Peer Review.

Impact: To increase the level of productivity when assigning Peer Reviewers.
2. New API Key section showing the date of the last use of an API Key. #
Pre-requisites: To have access to the Admin Portal API key section.
Description:
The Quality Clouds API layer provides a number of read-only and read-write functionalities, which are available for registered third party applications only for ServiceNow and Salesforce.
Authentication and authorisation for API requests are implemented via the use of API Keys, which are assigned to individual users. In the Quality Clouds Admin portal it is possible to configure the API Keys and also to check the status.
→ How to access to API Key configuration:
- Go to Quality Clouds Portal.
- Go to the Admin Portal.
- Go to the Account section.
- Go to the API key section.
- Check the different columns which provide information about the status of the API Keys.
- Check the Last used column.

Impact: To verify the use of an existing API Key and to track the frequency of use.

3. An alert pop-up shows when enabling the certificate-based authentication toggle in any ServiceNow Instance configuration Set Up. #
Pre-requisites: To enable the Cerficate-based Authentication toggle the Quality Clouds certification needs to be installed in the ServiceNow instance.
Description:
To strengthen the security using the Certificate-based Authentication for ServiceNow, there is an option available to enable the toggle from the instance configuration area in the Quality Clouds admin portal. When it is enabled after clicking ‘Save’ a warning message shows up indicating the process to obtain the certificate-based authentication.
→ How to access the ServiceNow instance in the Quality Clouds admin portal:
- Go to the Quality Clouds Portal.
- Go to the Admin Portal.
- Click on the account tab.
- Click on the instance tab.
- In the Set up area, you can enable the toggle from the Certificate-based Authentication.
- A pop-up will appear with a link to follow the instructions.
- Click this link for more information.

Impact: To improve security when connecting to the Quality Clouds and the ServiceNow platform.

1. The Quality Clouds application shows the number of issues which fail the Quality Gate as well as the Quality Gate message for Application scans.
Bug explanation:
When an application Scan was launched through the Quality Clouds ServiceNow application the information related to the Quality Gates was not show
Solution:
The Quality Gate information related to a specific issue indicates the number of issues detected after a Live Check and the Quality Gate Breaker status by issue (True or False).


2. Improve Re-selection Functionality in Issue Type Filter.
Bug explanation:
The ‘Issue type’ filter in the Debt Manager view grays out elements after toggling them off, making them inaccessible for re-selection.
Solution:
The filter allows you to re-select some items, it’s now working correctly.
3. Enhance Tagging Functionality for ‘N/A’ Option in Debt Manager.
Bug explanation:
When selecting the ‘N/A’ option within the ‘Tag’ filter field in Debt Manager view, issues are not being tagged correctly.
Solution:
All issues are tagged correctly with the selected tag.
4. Enhance Export Stability and Data Recovery in Catalog View.
Bug explanation:
Across all platforms, users encounter an error when attempting to export data from the Catalog view.
Solution:
Users can download the data without any issues, and the Catalog view data remains accessible after export.
5. Improved page sorting in the Admin Portal.
Bug explanation:
In the Admin Portal, there were some issues when sorting the user’s lists and rulesets page.
Solution:
Enhancements have been made to the Admin portal’s sorting functionality, allowing users to view 100 items per page without any issues on both rulesets and user pages.
