The purpose of this document is to guide users, especially Arquitects, platform owners and admin users, in utilizing the Live Check view within the Quality Clouds platform. This view is very helpful to verify that all the team is using the Live Check functionality.

Description #
What is the LiveCheck view? #
- Platforms available: ServiceNow and Salesforce
- Users that have access: Normal user, Customer Admin, and Project user.
The Live Check view you can check who is Live Check functionality on the instance of your selection, and what errors are being detected. It helps you monitor team productivity, track the frequency of issue checks, identify coding and checking patterns on specific days, and compare individual developer activities. Additionally, you can monitor issue resolution between consecutive scans, identify prevalent issues, and suggest training for your team if needed.
Ways to use this view #
The (Beta) Live Check view shows the following information:
In this view you can select a range of dates to show the relevant information by:
- selecting start and finish dates on the Choose a date calendar
- selecting one of the pre-defined ranges in Select a range (Last Week, Last Month, Last Quarter, Last Six Months)

Team Activity #
In the Team Activity section, you can see who in your team is using Live Check, what configuration elements are being checked, and which and how many issues are detected.
You can filter the information displayed in the graphs, trend and on the grid by the following elements:
- Teams
- Developer
- CE Type
- Quality Gates Result
Note, once you have applied your filter, it stays applied when you change to another view.
Widget #
The widget shows you the total number of usage, average number of checks by developer and a trend over time showing how the usage progresses.
Graphs #
The graphs show you the following information:
- Live Checks by OOTB: Here you can compare how many out-of-the-box (OOTB) elements are being checked in comparison with non-OOTB.
- Live Checks by CE Types: You can compare which configuration elements (CE) are the ones checked most frequently.
- Live Checks by developer: Compare who uses Live Check most frequently.
Hover over each developer to see the exact number of Live Checks in the selected period.

Trend – Live Check calls by team #
See the Live Check usage trend and it’s progress over time in your selected date range.

Grid #
See the list of all CE types and CE names checked with Live Check.
You can sort the table columns to see, for example, the CEs with most executions or most issues detected.

You can also view more details on expending – such as the breakdown of issues detected by each scan.

Team Issues #
In the Team Issues section, you can see how many issues and what type of issues are being detected by Live Check.
You can filter the information displayed in the graphs, trend and on the grid by the following elements:
- Teams
- Developer
- CE Type
- CE Name
Note, once you have applied your filter, it stays applied when you change to another view.
Widget #
The widget shows you the total number of issues detected in a given time period, average number of issues by developer and a trend over time showing how the issues detected metric progresses.
Graphs #
The graphs show you the following information:
- Number of Issues by Severity: Here you can compare how many issues are being detected with each severity.
- Number of Issues by Impact Area: You can compare which area is the most impacted by issues detected with Live Check.

Trend – Live Checks by CE Name #
In the stack bars graph you can compare the number of issues for a given CE Name by severity.
Grid #
See the detected issue details for any given CE Name.
Update Sets Live Check #
In the Update Sets Live Check section, you can see how many issues had been detected in an update set. You are able to filter the grid table by Quality Gates status, Update Set Name and Types.
Applications Live Check #
In the Applications section, you can see how many issues had been detected in an application check. You are able to filter the grid table by Quality Gates and status.
