Connecting Salesforce

< 1 min read

Depending on your needs, you may want to connect one or more orgs (instances) and/or one or more Git repositories.

Saleforce cloud support

Quality Clouds supports all Salesforce clouds which use the metadata API, that is:

Connecting orgs #

Connect orgs if you want to scan all your environments, including production.

→ To connect an org

  1. Create a connected app – configure the instance to control which data can be scanned by Quality Clouds.
  2. Set up Salesforce orgs – define which instance to scan, and launch the first scan.
  3. Test connectivity.

Connecting Git repositories #

Connect Git repositories, if you want to scan your development and integration environments. You can also scan selected branches, using our Feature Branch.

→ To connect a Git repository

  1. Set up Salesforce Git repositories.
  2. Test connectivity.

Optionally, you can also install and configure the Quality Clouds for Salesforce AppExchange. Find out more here.
