A scan is a unique time Quality Clouds runs the quality checks of a SaaS platform instance or Git repository. Only certain roles can launch scans.

What can you do in the Launch Scan section? #
The Launch Scan section enables users to launch scans manually for ServiceNow, Salesforce and Office365 instances.
How to launch a scan manually? #
- Log in in Quality Clouds platform.
- Go to Launch Scan section.
- Select the platform in which you want to launch a scan.
- Find your instance.
- Select the type of scan you want to launch: full scan, profiling or operational.
- Click the launch scan icon. An email notification will be sent to you once the scan is launched.
- Wait for the scan to be completed.
- View the results of the scans in the Quality Clouds portal within the views.
Once finished, you should be able to see the results on the views, and the scan information on the History tab.
