1. Relevant Improvements in the Debt Manager view. #
Pre-requisites: The Debt Manager view should be enabled.
Description:
New functionalities have been added to the Debt Manager to improve platform governance, team productivity, and performance. This release focuses on enhancing the creation view process by:
- Introducing the ability to save views with date ranges that have “no end date” through the Open-Ended Date Ranges feature. This functionality allows for monitoring issues based on their status, such as all open issues created after a specific project start date and issues expiring after today, ensuring timely write-offs and resolution. With this feature, it is possible to maintain updated information in one saved view with no end date each time the view is checked.
- Including Column Selection and Ordering in the Saved Views feature.
- Increasing the number of saved views across multiple instances.
- Enhancing the Filter Experience when working with large datasets.
- Simplifying the search experience in the Manage Tags section.

With the Open-Ended Date Ranges feature, it is possible to monitor issues based on their status using different criteria and by selecting different types of filters: Issues Open Date, Issues Closed Date, and Write-Off Expiration Date.

2. Uncovering Configuration Differences #
Pre-requisites: The Code Monitor view should be enabled.
Description:
In the Code Monitor view a ‘Compare Difference’ feature is available for Salesforce and ServiceNow customers within the Quality Clouds platform. This enhancement enables users to quickly identify discrepancies between different environments by comparing configuration elements between two instance scans.

- Go to the Code Monitor view
- Select the Target environment and the Scan date.
- You can also choose to show All Elements, Only Active Elements or Only Inactive Elements.
- Use the ‘Show differences‘ to identify discrepancies between different environments.
Impact: Improves the ability to manage and maintain Salesforce environments. By providing a straightforward way to identify and understand configuration discrepancies, this tool reduces the risk of errors during deployments and streamlines the change management process.
Use cases:
- Before deploying changes from a non-production to a production environment, use the “Compare Differences” feature to verify that all necessary configurations are in place and that no unintended discrepancies exist.
- Regularly compare configurations between environments to maintain alignment and prevent drift.

- Bulk “Never” Expiration Date Now Applies Correctly
Solution:
Fixed the issue where setting expiration dates to “Never” in bulk wasn’t working properly. It now applies as expected.
- Data Export Issue in New Debt Manager Fixed
Solution:
Resolved the problem that caused errors when exporting data in the New Debt Manager. Exporting now works without issues.
- Exporting Large Datasets Now More Reliable
Solution:
Fixed the issue where the export button could be clicked too soon, causing errors with large datasets. The button now stays disabled until the data is fully ready, preventing timeouts.
